Are scalloped ceiling textures a New England thing?
They seem to definitely be an Upstate New York thing. Apparently our ceiling was done by a famous ceiling person as when we first moved in people quickly identified the ceiling was various oohs and aahs. Personally I’m not a fan, especially with the glitter hovering at all times, but it would be expensive and messy to get rid of the “art”.
