Weird? Eccentric!
My fondest memory of this song (even though at the time you heard it EVERYWHERE) was while getting my hair (yes, I had hair at one time) cut in the home salon of Harold Gates (Colt model name, Jeff York – go look him up) in SF about a year after we’d met and had an…um…”encounter” in the whispering bushes at the end of Golden Gate Park. Sadly, Harold—like so many others—is no longer with us, but his presence in my life will forever be tied to this song in my memories.
