Mother Nature has decided to enter a quiet period for the next few days. This is always a possibility when you approach storm chasing backwards, and by this I mean setting the chase dates first and then hoping the weather cooperates, instead of chasing based on the actual forecast.
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
I’m still looking forward to my chase trip starting tomorrow, of course, because I love exploring the countryside. I’m working on my Plan Bs: hiking, making videos, visiting friends, etc. I’m sure I’ll still see some thunderstorms and the like, and the latter half of my trip shows some promise for severe weather in the Central Plains.
It’s a good thing I know how to amuse myself. Actually, it’s a better thing I’m so easily amused.
